The only time you cannot use Skin Support on your Dog or Cat is if they are on blood thinning medications. The herbs selected in the Skin Support do not interact with any pharmaceutical drugs, but caution is advised if animal is diabetic.

That depends, There are many factors that influence how quickly you will see results. Such as severity of condition, immune status, diet, stress levels, age, breed etc.

The Skin Support is a pungent formula and sometimes you need to use for a few months to see systemic results. Healing from Allergies/Food intolerances is an immune issue, not a skin issue (the skin rashes are a result of an immune reaction). So I always recommend food allergy tests as 98% of dogs with skin allergies have them. Continuing to feed food that trigger a negative immune response will only further the intolerance and exacerbate skin symptoms. I recommend Easy DNA labs (Australian Based) Their food Allergy/Intolerance tests are very affordable and comprehensive (around $150).

With conditions affecting the skin it could take up to 3 months to see visible results (at the most) as the skin is the slowest healing organ in the body. It is very common especially with infections involving the ears and skin, for it to take a couple of months to fully heal.

As herbal medicine is aimed at fixing the root cause of the illness instead of just negating symptoms, it is not instant. Patience is key, but if you aren't seeing results after 12 weeks, please contact us and we can reformulate the medicine to suit your pets individual needs, or you may have to increase the dosage. Our herbal formulas are flavoured with a smoky bacon taste, and 98% of herbs are in a glycerine base, but the pungency of some herbs may still be present. Mixed into food is the easiest way for most pets, if not you can squeeze into the side of their mouth or mix into a treat like peanut butter, ricotta cheese etc. 

Persistence is the key, you can always try to work up to the recommended dosage over a week or so.
