Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of a type of yeast known as Malassezia pachydermatis, which is a normal organism found on the skin and inside the ears of dogs. However, an imbalance in the amount of yeast can lead to a variety of unpleasant symptoms for your pet, including:

chronic itching
greasy skin
hair loss
skin sores
darkened thickened skin
yellow foul-smelling discharge
sour/yeast/corn chip odour to the skin and ears.

The itching can be a constant discomfort for your pet, particularly in areas where there is increased heat and creases in the skin, such as between the paw pads and ears, as well as the belly and under the arm pits.

There may be contributing factors to a yeast infection, including prolonged use of medications like steroids or immune suppressant drugs, as well as other diseases like Cushing's disease, cancer, and hypothyroidism.

The skin is the slowest healing organ in the body, and it takes time to eradicate the yeast and increase immunity so that yeast infections cannot proliferate. DOSAGE YEAST SUPPORT: (SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE): Use for 3 weeks, then stop administration for 1 week. Repeat dosage cycle until desired affect is achieved. Dose twice daily. Give one drop for every 1kg (2lb) of body weight up to 25kg (50lb), add one drop per additional 2kg (4lb). Does not need refrigeration. Contains calibrated dropper: 0.5ml = 10 drops. Mix into food or drop into side of mouth.

Yeast kit for dogs

Fanando has only been on the yeast kit for just over a month and his coat is much healthier , he isn't complaining with is stomach pains at night his eyes are a lot clearer . Is the Yeast Kit Safe For My Dog Or Cat, Even If They Are On Pharmaceutical Medications?

Yes! Safety is of the upmost importance to us at Natural Pet Supplements. The herbs chosen are specifically chosen because of safety and effectiveness in animals.

You cannot use the Yeast Kit on your Dog or Cat if they have a seizure disorder or severe liver disease. Do not use if diarrhoea is present. Caution is advised if using immune supressing medications or if animal is diabetic.

Do not exceed recommended dosage for weight, unless advised. For best practice all herbal formulas should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to surgery. If you have any queries about safety, drug/herb interactions, please contact us and we will back to you ASAP.

How long until I see results with the Yeast Kit?

That depends, There are many factors that influence how quickly you will see results. Such as severity of condition, immune status, diet, stress levels, age, breed etc.

The Yeast Kit is a pungent mix of formulas. The Yeast Support you need to use it for 3 weeks, then break for a week (this will help the body not get overloaded with trying to eliminate the yeast die off). If it is not resolved by the end of the four week cycle, start the cycle again and continue until results manifest. During the break week, continue to use the Gut Restore Powder and Spray.

With conditions affecting the skin it could take up to 3 months to see visible results (at the most). But some people see results within a week. The skin is the slowest healing organ in the body. It is very common especially with infections involving the ears and skin, for it to take a couple of months to fully heal. You may need a few of the Kits before it is healed.

As herbal medicine is aimed at fixing the root cause of the illness instead of just negating symptoms, it is not instant. Patience is key, but if you aren't seeing results after 12 weeks, please contact us and we can reformulate the medicine to suit your pets individual needs, or you may have to increase the dosage. What If My Dog Or Cat Doesn't Like The Taste?

Our herbal formulas are flavoured with a smoky bacon taste, and 98% of herbs are in a glycerine base, but the pungency of some herbs may still be present.

Mixed into food is the easiest way for most pets, if not you can squeeze into the side of their mouth or mix into a treat like peanut butter, ricotta cheese etc.

Persistence is the key, you can always try to work up to the recommended dosage over a week or so.

We use Australia Post. Packages sent in Mainland Australia are all sent Express Post. It could take from 2-8 working days.

We ship worldwide and use an express service for this. It can take from 5-20 working days, depending on what part of the world you are in. We cannot send treats in international orders unfortunately because of customs rules.
