Details of the Throat and Lung Support

Coughs are not an illness in itself but a symptom of an illness, such as an infection, structural abnormality or disease.

The herbal combination boosts immunity to combat infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract. Ongoing use reduces the likelihood of contracting viruses and bacterial infections.

May minimise the discomfort of leash strain and will help to clear kennel cough rapidly, usually within 3-7 days.

Throat and Lung Support effectively works to maintain healthy tissues in the throat and respiratory tract. May help to ease the discomfort of a partially collapsed trachea.

Just add into food daily, can be given up to 4 times daily during an acute cough.

All herbs are premium quality and tested for purity.

Inactive ingredients: Vegetable Glycerine, Natural Bacon Flavouring (Tomato, Sweet smoked paprika, nutritional yeast) (Vegan, Vegetarian derived, Contains no protein). Trace amounts of alcohol may be present.

Dose Twice Daily (Shake well before use) give one drop for every 1kg (2lb) of body weight up to 25kg (50lb), add one drop per additional 2kg (4lb).

Can be dosed up to 4 times a day in acute coughs

A great start

I purchased this for our dog when she got a cough and I she took it for about 1 week and then I had to take her to the vet because the cough got worse. I think the herbal tincture was really good because it stopped the cough getting worse and if I had started the dog taking the tincture a few days before I did she wouldn’t have gotten sicker. I’m keeping some of the tincture in the cupboard in case I need it again.

I bought the throat and lung support for my elderly rescue Tibbie. Her reverse sneezing had been getting more frequent and severe and I could see her chest battling to get any air in. I decided to try the drops first, taking her to a vet is very stressful for her and unfortunately, we don't have any particularly good vets around.
I was honestly amazed at how quickly and how well the drops worked! Far less frequently and severe within a few days and now she very rarely has had an attack and of the few that she has had, have been far less severe and she doesn't get as panicky.
I highly recommend the drops, as does Holly. She has them in her dinner once a day and doesn't seem to mind the taste 😊

Throat and Lung Support Herbal Tincture

I have used this product to good effect in clearing minor congestion from a dog. The addition of natural flavours increases palatability and it can be worked into a ball of chicken paste, which dogs won't be likely to reject. The herbal formula is anti-viral and anti-bacterial, so it is a healthy way to support good health. I would buy it again, if needed.

This stuff is great. It doesn't stop all the coughing and hacking. But it has reduced it by about 95%. So I reckon that's great!!

Is the Throat and Lung Support Safe For My Dog Or Cat, Even If They Are On Pharmaceutical Medications?

Yes! Safety is of the upmost importance to us at Natural Pet Supplements. The herbs chosen are specifically chosen because of safety and effectiveness in animals.

The only thing you need to do with Throat & Lung Support is make sure it's given at least 1 hour away from pharmaceutical medications. The herbs selected in the Throat & Lung Support do not interact with any pharmaceutical drugs, but caution is advised if animal is diabetic.

Do not exceed recommended dosage for weight, unless advised. For best practice all herbal formulas should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to surgery. If you have any queries about safety, drug/herb interactions, please contact us and we will back to you ASAP.

How long until I see results with the Throat and Lung Support?

That depends, There are many factors that influence how quickly you will see results. Such as severity of condition, immune status, diet, stress levels, age, breed etc.

Depending of the condition being treated, you may see results from 3 days to 2 weeks. Kennel cough generally clears up within 1 week on the formula.

As herbal medicine is aimed at fixing the root cause of the illness instead of just negating symptoms, it is not instant. Patience is key, but if you aren't seeing results after 12 weeks, please contact us and we can reformulate the medicine to suit your pets individual needs, or you may have to increase the dosage.

What If My Dog Or Cat Doesn't Like The Taste?

Our herbal formulas are flavoured with a smoky bacon taste, and 98% of herbs are in a glycerine base, but the pungency of some herbs may still be present.

Mixed into food is the easiest way for most pets, if not you can squeeze into the side of their mouth or mix into a treat like peanut butter, ricotta cheese etc.

Persistence is the key, you can always try to work up to the recommended dosage over a week or so.

How long will my order take to get delivered?

We use Australia Post. Packages sent in Mainland Australia are all sent Express Post. It could take from 2-8 working days.

We ship worldwide and use an express service for this. It can take from 5-20 working days, depending on what part of the world you are in. We cannot send treats in international orders unfortunately because of customs rules, the sniffer dogs find them and they throw out the packages!.
