Ingredients

Active Ingredients per 20 drops (1ml): Rehmannia Root (Rehmannia glutinosa), Cordyceps sinensis Fruiting Body (Cordyceps mycelium), Astragalus Root (Astragalus membranaceus), Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis).

All herbs are premium quality, Human Grade and tested for purity.

Inactive ingredients: Vegetable Glycerine, Natural Bacon Flavouring (smoked sweet paprika, tomato powder, nutritional yeast) (Vegan, Vegetarian derived, Contains no protein) ALCOHOL AND SODIUM FREE PREPARATION.

Caution: Do not use with blood thinners. Administer 1 hour away from pharmaceutical medications. Caution use in diabetic animals. Ongoing veterinarian checks are essential in kidney disease.

Dosage

DOSAGE: (SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE): Dose twice daily. Give one drop for every 1kg (2lb) of body weight up to 25kg (50lb), add one drop per additional 2kg (4lb).

Does not need refrigeration. Contains calibrated syringe: 0.5ml = 10 drops 1.0ml =20 drops. Mix into food or treat or alternatively drop into the side of their mouth.

Kidney support

Started using this about 3 months ago after my elderly German Shepherd had her blood test done & test results came back showing very early on set of kidney disease. We went back recently to have blood work done again & her kidney function test came back in the normal range . She is on her 3rd bottle now & bonus she absolutely loves the flavour, lm so happy with the product that l will continue using it. I highly recommend it.

Very palatable product for fussy cats

We have been using this product for 18yo Peaches who was diagnosed with mid-stage 3 CKD when we recently adopted her. Although we never expected a miraculous turnaround for an elderly kitty, her kidneys and general health appear very stable after three months on the product. She is due for a wellness check in January (after which I will provide feedback based on blood results). In the meantime, it is very easy to add this product to food as prescribed, and the bacon flavour is very acceptable to Miss Fussy Pants.
Update 17 April 2024: Peaches had full bloodwork done in February and indication is that her kidneys have remained stable. We do believe that the Kidney Support Formula is helping her to enjoy a quality life at age 18 and are continuing with the maintenance dose Thank you.

Is the Kidney Support Safe For My Dog Or Cat, Even If They Are On Pharmaceutical Medications?

Yes! Safety is of the upmost importance to us at Natural Pet Supplements. The herbs chosen are specifically chosen because of safety and effectiveness in animals.

The only time you cannot use Kidney Support on your Dog or Cat is when they are on blood thinning medications. Administer 1 hour away from pharmaceutical medications. Caution is advised if the animal is diabetic. Ongoing veterinarian checks are essential in kidney disease.

Do not exceed recommended dosage for weight, unless advised. For best practice all herbal formulas should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to surgery. If you have any queries about safety, drug/herb interactions, please contact us and we will back to you ASAP.

How long until I see results with the Kidney Support?

That depends, There are many factors that influence how quickly you will see results. Such as severity of condition, immune status, diet, stress levels, age, breed etc.

Some people see results within a few days, commonly such as normalized appetite and improved energy and mood. But some more advanced cases of kidney support can take up to 3 months to see the full effect.

As herbal medicine is aimed at fixing the root cause of the illness instead of just negating symptoms, it is not instant. Patience is key, but if you aren't seeing results after 12 weeks, please contact us and we can reformulate the medicine to suit your pets individual needs, or you may have to increase the dosage.

What If My Dog Or Cat Doesn't Like The Taste?

Our herbal formulas are flavoured with a smoky bacon taste, and 98% of herbs are in a glycerine base, but the pungency of some herbs may still be present. Mixed into food is the easiest way for most pets, if not you can squeeze into the side of their mouth or mix into a treat like peanut butter, ricotta cheese etc.

The Kidney Support taste is on the more on the aromatic side, even with the Bacon flavour, so mixing into food is ideal.

Persistence is the key, you can always try to work up to the recommended dosage over a week or so.

How long will my order take to get delivered?

We use Australia Post. Packages sent in Mainland Australia are all sent Express Post. It could take from 2-8 working days.

We ship worldwide and use an express service for this. It can take from 5-20 working days, depending on what part of the world you are in. We cannot send treats in international orders unfortunately because of customs rules.
