Herbs in each Gravy Selection

Stress & Anxiety Support

  • Passionflower: (Passiflora incarnata): Passionflower increases GABA levels in the brain which help to regulate mood. It is a very calming herb and traditionally is combined with Valerian. They work in synergy to promote relaxation and a lowering of stress, anxiety and related behaviours.

Skin Support

  • Baical Skulcap (Scutellaria baicalensis): This herb is an anti-allergy herb, it modulates the immune response to allergens and intollerances. This may reduce the severity of reactions, along with  symptoms like itching and redness.

  • Turmeric (Curcuma longa): Turmeric blocks more pain pathways than any other known herb. It is very powerful anti-inflammatory for the skin.

  • Calendula (Celendula officinalis): This herb speeds up the healing process, skin that is itchy and irritated will need help to heal as the skin is the slowest healing organ.

  • Burdock (Arcticum lappa): Burdock is a detoxing and cleansing liver herb. Skin disorders are frequently connected to a congested liver.

  • Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica): Helps to heal by speeding up connective tissue and skin repair, it also prevents hair loss.

Digestion Support

  • Mashmallow (Althaea officinalis): Helps to restore the gut lining and mucous membranes, soothes irritation and inflammation

  • Turmeric (Curcuma longa): Reduces systemic inflammation of the gut and increases bile production to aid in digestion. Calms smooth muscles in the digestive tract to help push through food without causing gas and indigestion.

  • Mint (Menta piperita): Mint lowers indigestion and gas, it has a cooling effect on the gastro-intestinal tract
